A major retrospective of Sheila Fell’s work, the first in over 30 years and the largest ever, is now finished at Tullie in Carlisle and subsequently at the Museum and Winter Gardens in Sunderland. Tullie House was the home of Carlisle School of Art when Fell was a student there for two years in 1948-50.
A small but exquisite exhibition of Sheila Fell‘s paintings and drawings, curated by Professor Frances Spalding and including an early, very large example of a silk screen print, was held at Clare Hall, Cambridge from 26 September – 6 November 2024
